DESCRIPTION:
The final decommissioning and demolition of the shipyard,Fredrikstad Mekaniske Verksted in Fredrikstad, Norway. Fredrikstad was one of Norway's most important industrial centers and famous for its large shipyard. During the end of the 1980's most of its operations had ceased, though small scale projects and industries continued on until 2005, when the site was finally put to rest. This is the last part in a series documenting final stages and eventual decommission of the Fredrikstad Mekaniske Verksted.
